I was born an outdoorsman...

By the time I was 8 years old I had become obsessed with being in the outdoors. Whether it was fishing, hunting, winter sports,  or just exploring the outdoors.

I grew up in Modoc County. A gateway to the outdoors for enthusiasts that look to get off the beaten path and find there own nirvana.

Eventually I found myself in a culinary institute being trained in Le'Cordon Bleu for hospitality and management never suspecting that my personal passion,  how I had spent most of my life thus far, would tie together with a renewed interest for the culinary arts.

These days, I try to harness the ability to seek out new ways to express myself through my own art. With more and more resources and a new found awareness of culinary possibility around me I have been able to retreat back to what once just seemed to be a dream and take a risk.
